License agreement (EULA)
The short version
You buy a license once. It is yours, on all your own computers, on every platform we support, forever. The demo is free and fully functional for 14 days. If you do not like the plugin, you get your money back within 30 days under our voluntary guarantee. We do not use dongles, machine locks or activation servers. We ask one thing in return: do not share your license key.
1. The license
A license is personal. One person, unlimited use on any computer that person owns and uses.
One license covers all platforms and plugin formats we release for the product. Windows and macOS are the same license.
Studios or companies with several users buy one license per person. Contact us for multiple licenses.
Commercial use is included. Music you make with the plugin is yours, always.
Your license is delivered as a license key with a serial number that is registered to your name in our records.
2. The demo
The demo is free and fully functional for 14 days. No feature limits, no silence, no watermarks.
You can evaluate everything, on your own material, in your own projects. After 14 days the plugin stops processing until you add a license.
The demo and the full version are the same plugin. Your settings and projects carry over the moment you add a license.
3. Updates and versions
Updates within the same major version are always free. Version 1.x stays free for every 1.x owner, for as long as we ship them.
A new major version, such as a version 2, is a new product with its own price. We are never obliged to keep updating older major versions, but your license for the version you bought remains valid forever.
4. Refunds
30 days, money back, no questions asked. Send an email, you get a refund.
When a purchase is refunded the license ends. The serial number is deregistered and may be blocked in future versions of the plugin.
5. Transfers
You may transfer your license to another person. Send us an email and we move the registration to the new owner.
Transfers are free. They are not possible within the first 30 days after purchase.
After a transfer the previous owner deletes all copies of the license key and stops using the plugin.
6. What we do not use
No dongles. No machine binding. No activation counters. No online activation. No background services. No subscription. The plugin never needs an internet connection to install, activate or run.
7. What you may not do
Share, publish or sell copies of your license key, other than through a transfer as described above.
Distribute the software itself, in any form, without our written permission.
Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the software, or attempt to remove its license mechanism, except where the law explicitly permits this.
8. Warranty and liability
We do our best to ship solid software, but we cannot promise it is free of bugs or that it fits every purpose.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific license involved. We are not liable for indirect damage such as lost work or lost income.
These limits do not apply where consumer law does not allow them, and never in cases of intent or gross negligence on our side.
Nothing in this agreement limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
9. The legal frame
This agreement is governed by Dutch law.
Our general terms and conditions apply to the purchase itself. If this agreement and the general terms conflict, the arrangement that is most favorable to you as a consumer applies.
