This policy explains what data Tapeminded collects, why, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

• Contact details you provide: name and email address, when you make a purchase or sign up for our newsletter.
• Order information: which product you purchased, purchase date, license key.
• Payment information: processed directly by Stripe, our payment provider. We do not store your card details ourselves.
• Usage data: only if you accept analytics cookies (see Cookies below).

Why we collect it

• To deliver your license and provide support.
• To send you product updates and offers, only if you’ve subscribed to our newsletter.
• To understand how our website is used, only with your consent.

How long we keep it

We retain customer data for 7 years, in line with Dutch tax and accounting record-keeping requirements.

Who we share it with

• Stripe, to process payments. See Stripe’s own privacy policy for details.
• Brevo, to send our newsletter, only for subscribers who opted in.
• Google Analytics, only if you’ve accepted analytics cookies.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

Cookies

We use cookies for two purposes:

• Essential cookies, required for the website and checkout to function. These are always active.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics), used to understand site usage. These are only activated if you give consent via our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
• Withdraw consent for marketing or analytics at any time.
